Opening Evening
On the 9th May, Turquoise Mountain and Pippa Small will be hosting an opening evening that will begin a series of events from 6 - 8pm at Pippa's shop at 201 Westbourne Grove, London W11 2SB during London Craft week.
Shoshana Stewart, CEO of Turquoise Mountain will talk about their special partnership and collaboration over the last 10 years.

Design for Development
10th May
4 - 5pm
Turquoise Mountain and Pippa Small will be hosting a discussion on the importance of design in development with award-winning Pippa Small, Afghan woodworker and Victoria Dabdoub architect and artist working for Turquoise Mountain in Jordan.

Zarif Design: Fashion from Afghanistan
11th May
10.30am - 12pm
Turquoise Mountain and Pippa Small will be hosting a presentation by Zarif Design founder Zolaykha Sherzad. Demonstrating some of her designs, Zolaykha will be talking about her fashion label and the work she has been doing with female tailors in Kabul.

Art Overcoming Conflict
12th May

Turquoise Mountain and Pippa Small will host a discussion presented by Afghan calligrapher and miniaturist from Kabul, who uses art to tell her story in a different way. They will also demonstrate live her skills in calligraphy.

Syria: Recipes from Home
13th May
1 - 3pm
Turquoise Mountain and Pippa Small will host a talk from Itab Azzam one of the co-authors of the cookbook Syria: Recipes from Home. Friends and passionate cooks Itab and Dina met Syrian women in the Middle East and Europe to collect together the very best recipes from one of the world's greatest food cultures.
