Bokja

I stumbled upon Bokja whilst exploring Beirut in June and was instantly captured by the originality and the storytelling through skilled embroidery.

Bokja is a Beirut based design company that uses antique textiles and embroidery to create art installations, imaginative furniture and lifestyle pieces. All embroidered items are handmade by artisans in Bokja's Beirut atelier. Irregularities are celebrated and a sense of honesty is embedded in every piece.

  

By crafting meaningful narratives through an array of embroidery and assemblage techniques, Bokja pioneers to preserve traditions of the Middle East, redefining them in a contemporary voice.

The new collection from Bokja is available at our Notting Hill boutique until Christmas.
