Palestine Collection
Pippa works in gold and glass in Palestine. Our recently launched ‘Azaz’ collection is made in partnership with Mohammad Twam, whom Pippa met through Turquoise Mountain Levant, in Jaba’, Palestine. Mohammad Twam is a master of his craft and has been working as a glassblower for over 40 years. The Azaz collection – ‘azaz’ means ‘glass’ in local Palestinian dialect - is inspired by ancient beads that have been worn, handled, and loved for centuries.
To create our gold collection, Pippa works with a small family-run workshop in Bethlehem. Together, using traditional casting and goldsmithing techniques, they created a collection inspired by the olive leaf. The olive leaf, an ancient symbol of peace and wisdom deeply ingrained in Palestinian cultural heritage, was the perfect place to start.
