Choco Jungle

Our newest collection, ‘Choco Jungle’, is one that combines all the qualities we seek in our mission as a design company.

This collection is made entirely of clean eco gold, panned by an association of women in the rivers of the Choco Jungle. River panning gold provides a much-needed livelihood and independence for families. With zero pollution and small-scale mining, this method allows gold to be found in the jungle rivers for future generations.

The expert goldsmithing and filigree work, a technique that originated in West Africa, was done by talented Afro-Colombian men and women in Tumaco, following the techniques passed down centuries ago by Spanish and Portuguese goldsmiths. The designs in this collection are centred around the unique and beautiful flora of the Pacific region of Colombia. Exquisite workmanship combined with clean materials, cultural heritage, and hand-making skills, as well as creating much-needed livelihood and independence in an area much affected by civil war makes this a collection we are very proud of.
