Koh-i-Noor
Our latest collection, Koh-i-Noor, is steeped in a rich history of diamond and jewellery design.
The first recorded mention of the nearly 200-carat Golconda diamond, originating from the famed Golconda region of India, dates back to 1740. The Golconda region is known for producing the world's most famous diamonds, including the Koh-i-Noor.
The original cut of the Koh-i-Noor diamond, whose name translates to 'Mountain of Light,' was renowned for its captivating beauty. This early cut gently amplified the stone's life and fire. Historical drawings preserve the elegance of this original cut, which was later altered by Prince Albert. Today, the Koh-i-Noor sits prominently on the crown of King Charles.
This extraordinary gem inspired our Koh-i-Noor collection. We've reimagined this legendary cut using clear Aquamarine, Green Quartz, and Rainbow Moonstone. I chose these stones for their limpid, liquid clarity. Stately, primary, and powerful, each piece captures the spirit of the original masterpiece.
