Titpin Collection
Titpin means “forest” in Myanmar, and this collection imagines a stroll through a Southeast Asian forest of ancient trees and oversized leaves. Titpin is a collection of handmade gold leaves & flowers, crafted by the talented goldsmiths of Yangon in collaboration with the arts charity Turquoise Mountain.
Myanmar has faced many challenges in recent years-war, earthquakes, and flooding. Turquoise Mountain supports artisans and their communities with humanitarian assistance as well as meaningful work. The goldsmiths come from generations of skilled craftspeople, and I consider their work with gold to be among the finest in the world.
Highlights include a connecting flower bracelet and a gold leaf ring, pendant and bracelet that feel freshly picked from the tree. This is a display of masterful goldsmithing - a collection that brings to mind the wonder and beauty of the natural world.
