18kt Gold Vermeil PSTM Jordan Sahlan Elongated Hook Earrings

$430

Pippa Small and Turquoise Mountain Jordan have partnered with The Swarovski Foundation to create a limited-edition jewellery collection, Sahlan. This collection helps promising young people from the Levant begin their livelihoods in the craft of jewellery design and production.

With the assistance of Pippa Small and Turquoise Mountain’s in-house designer, Hala Haddadeen, and the support of The Swarovski Foundation, the Turquoise Mountain students created eight different designs inspired by the Islamic brass door-knocker motif, symbolizing the hospitality for which Levant is famous.

Welcoming guests from near and far is a core value for Levantines, and this concept fed into the theme for and the ultimate name of the collection: Sahlan, derived from the Arabic phrase for “welcome”.

Please note, each unique piece is individually hand-crafted and so may vary ever so slightly from the image featured.
