Symbols - We Are Everything Chain

Earlier this year, we launched a collection made in Myanmar, ‘Tender Greens’. Within Tender Greens are two pieces that we have called ‘We Are Everything’, which might sound a bit puzzling, the idea is that we are a part of everything on this planet. Made in Myanmar, a predominantly Buddhist country, this is very intrinsic to their belief system: that we are part of a universe of sentient beings who’s lives and roles are as important as ours and are part of a whole universe where we are all contributing to each other’s health and lives. This idea is translated into gold by the very skilled artisans at Turquoise Mountain Myanmar in Yangon. We have tiny elements of animals, we have rabbits, deer, bears, lions and fish; we also have things like the moon, stars, clouds and water. Everything is unified, belonging together, and we all have responsibility for each other. It’s a message of unity, hope, and love – what a beautiful world this is, and we’re all part of it.
